Facebook Warning - Six Brothers Taxi (Plate Number TWP-527)
A warning appeared in my FB wall about an apparent overcharging of a cab, Six Brothers Taxi, with plate number TWP-527. Below is the message as posted:
If you suspect a similar modus is being done to you, report it to the Philippine National Police through their hotline number 117, or you may send TXT PNP to 2920. Whenever riding a cab, always get the details of the cab (i.e. name of the cab, plate number, and operator) and send the details to your friends via SMS.
Another safety tip is to always lock all doors of the cab as soon as possible. By all, I mean all four doors, ask the driver to lock his door as a precautionary measure. I've witnessed an instance of robbery happening in front of SM Megamall during a bumper-to-bumper traffic. At least two people will open the door from both sides and grab anything they can before running away. The passenger won't be able to respond accordingly due to the confusion caused by simultaneous attack from both sides, so its best to always lock all doors.
Ride safely!

BABALA: Six Brothers TWP 527!! Tandaan!
Sindikato to mula sa NAIA airport!
TANDAAN:
**I-check ang lock. Subukang i-lock at i-unlock ang pinto AT buksan ang bintana bago paandarin ang taxi.
- Neon ang steering wheel
- Walang presyo sa metro
- Amoy putok

10 Best Tips For Maximizing Fuel Efficiency in Old Cars
Gas prices are soaring once again, making it costlier to drive your car. However, there are several ways on how to save some of your gas money, and I'm not talking about buying a new, hybrid car. I'm listing below my gas saving tips I practice that may help you make your own car more fuel efficient. You don't have to buy a new car, read my list below to find out how to improve the gas mileage of your old car.
1. Drive Sensibly, Not Slowly
People usually say "drive slower to save gas". This might be partially true, but it isn't efficient. What we should do is practice driving sensibly, which means gentle acceleration and minimized braking. You don't need to be the first one to go after the traffic sign turns green; you're not on a racetrack. In city driving, there's another waiting for you a few blocks away, negating the speed and position gained beforehand. Consider easing up on the gas pedal on acceleration and you'll be surprised how this tip alone can extend the life of your tank of gas.

Facebook Wall Post: Beware of Kidnappers
I saw a post in my Facebook newsfeed about vans that kidnap women and children:
From: san jose pulis. PNP , pls pass"
This is a serious matter, so I decided to make a quick check to verify the truthfulness of this claim. I verified the plate numbers mentioned by using the LTO SMS service for plate number verification. Here are the replies.

Replacing Suzuki Vitara Alternator
![]() |
| Rey Villa Electrical Shop - Cubao Branch |
At first, I don't know if the alternator or the battery is faulty. I need to check first which should be replaced, since it wouldn't be practical to just replace everything in the charging/starting system. I borrowed a battery from another Vitara owner, which is of same size, capacity, and brand as mine. The borrowed battery was able to crank and start the engine, but upon testing with a digital multimeter, the output voltage across the battery terminals isn't going up. The alternator of a running engine should produce about 12.5-13.5 volts. Mine was doing 11.9.

Car Review: Should I Buy Suzuki Vitara JLX?
Perhaps you're in the market and looking for a second hand vehicle. You're still undecided whether you'll get a car, an SUV, or a pick-up truck. You want a dependable, rugged vehicle that isn't too boxy. You need a vehicle that can take you to places.
Guess what, there's a vehicle that can do all of that, and more!
If you're looking for a second-hand car, consider looking into the Suzuki JLX Vitara. I will enumerate some of the strong points of this very capable vehicle, and then you can decide if this will fit your needs.
Why You Should Consider Buying Suzuki JLX Vitara
1. High Ground Clearance
Ground clearance for stock vitara is about 8 inches, higher than Toyota Avanza and Rav4. The ground clearance is also high enough to allow easy access when entering or leaving the vehicle.

Filmar Autotrends
Update: Filmar Autotrends New Address
First time kong pumunta sa kanila kaya nahirapan akong maghanap.
